Next Thursday, March 30, EXANTE and the Consulate of Kazakhstan in Latvia will host a formal reception in Riga to celebrate the spring holiday Nauryz-Meiram.

Nauryz-Meiram, also spelled as Nowruz, is a special and cherished feast of spring renewal. The holiday is widely celebrated in eastern cultures, and symbolises friendship, unity and the vernal equinox that marks the beginning of spring. It is celebrated several days starting from the 21st of March, the day of the spring equinox.

The dinner will take place at the Radisson Blu Daugava in Riga, and will be attended by the Kazakstan’s Ambassador to Latvia, Mr. Baurzhan Mukhamejanov, the representatives of the Latvian Saeima, and the key members of the Latvian business community. Our Riga team will also join the event to celebrate this joyful spring holiday.
